TDI - Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver Course

Exclusively at TGADC

This is the entry level certification course for divers wishing to utilize the Inspiration / Evolution Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for air diving. During this course you'll learn the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving a CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills to a maximum of one hundred thirty feet using an air diluent for minimal decompression diving (no greater than 5 minutes required at 20 feet).

This course will be taught by TGADC Instructors Matt Hahn and Mark Alexander.

2010 Schedule

Prerequisite   

• 18 Years Old
• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or other qualifying certification)
• Show proof of 60 logged dives deeper than 80 feet
• TDI Advanced Nitrox (or equivalent) - Can be done concurrently with the CCR course for $200 additional

Price:    $1500.00

Includes:

• 2 days of classroom, workshops and confined water dives
• 3 days of open water dives
• TDI Inspiration / Evolution Rebreather Manual

Required Equipment   

• Inspiration or Evolution Rebreather (units can be rented for $500 which can be fully credited toward purchase)
• Mask, Fins, Backup depth gauge and timing device, appropriate exposure protection.
